New Milestones at Vaultody: UTXO Protocols Support and Polygon Integration

As we move into the second half of the year, we've reached important milestones that improve our clients' experience and expand our services. These achievements took place in our General Vaults and Automation Vaults, and they now offer more ways to interact with a wider variety of cryptocurrency assets and more flexibility to our clients.

UTXO Protocols Now Supported in Automation Vaults

The introduction of UTXO protocol support to our Automation Vaults is opening up numerous opportunities for Vaultody customers. This enhancement significantly broadens the range of assets our clients can store, transfer, and manage within the Automation Vaults. The newly supported UTXO protocols include Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Dash, ZCash, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and others.

Unlike account-based protocols, UTXO protocols offer greater convenience to our clients. In account-based systems, customers must individually link each address they use for sending, receiving, and managing funds.

With UTXO protocols, there's no need to link each address manually. Once your UTXO addresses are set up, our system automatically processes them, eliminating the need for manual intervention from the client.

Here is a quick reminder of how Automation Vaults actually work. They allow you to establish and implement various automation rules for managing assets across addresses within the vault. This feature greatly enhances transaction efficiency by removing the need for manual vault management, making asset management more optimized and effective.

Understanding UTXO Protocols

UTXOs (Unspent Transaction Output) are blockchain protocols that function differently from account-based systems. In UTXO-based blockchains, such as Bitcoin and Litecoin, transactions are composed of inputs and outputs. Each input is a reference to an unspent output from a previous transaction. The total value of these inputs must match the total value of the outputs, ensuring that no new coins are created out of thin air.

Polygon Blockchain Integration into General Vaults

Another milestone we are proud to announce is the integration of the Polygon blockchain into our General Vaults. This allows our clients to work with assets running on the Polygon network, broadening the scope of their asset management capabilities.

Why Did We Choose Polygon as One of the First Chains to Integrate?

Polygon, formerly known as Matic Network, is a protocol and framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. It aims to address some of Ethereum's major limitations, such as high transaction fees and slow speeds, without compromising on security.

Polygon is one of the most sought-after blockchain protocols by our customers. This strong demand played a key role in our decision to integrate it early, while other blockchains are still being lined up for future integration.

What is coming soon in Vaultody

By integrating Polygon into our General Vaults, we are taking the first step toward full Polygon integration across our solutions. We also plan to add Polygon as a supported network for our Automation Vaults and Smart Vaults in the near future, further enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of our services.

Additionally, we are working to integrate a series of new blockchain protocols across all three vault types in our solutions. Some of the blockchains already on our development team's list include Solana, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Sui, with more to be announced soon.

Conclusion

These two milestones represent our strong efforts and commitment to providing comprehensive, secure, and innovative digital asset management solutions. The addition of UTXO protocol support and Polygon integration enhances the versatility and flexibility of Vaultody, offering our clients more options and greater efficiency in their asset management processes.
