Advanced API keys let you set and manage the functionality of API keys for different activities on your account. Control and protect the authorized activities of your API keys by setting access permissions and rules.

With Advanced API keys, additional security parameters are introduced to ensure a better level of protection such as unix time stamps - clients must ensure placing a time stamp for their request within 30 seconds of the API service time, otherwise requests are marked as expired. Other additional enhanced security parameters are API as a string, base64-encoded signature, a passphrase linked to the API key, whitelisting of IP addresses, select vaults for the API Key allowing you to operate with the API, and API key expiration with pre-defined expiration time.   

Each API key can be allowed or limited to generate deposit addresses, create transaction requests or undertake other vault-related activities. Access to different endpoints and methods is granted via Advanced API keys.
